Emmy/Grammy-winner Bob Newhart passed away at age 94 this Thursday morning. He died in his LA home after a series of short illnesses

Newhart was that show, though. Everyone watched it.

It may very well have been my favourite TV moment ever, and I still rate it as the best series finale ever. I loved the Newhart Show but The Bob Newhart Show was a masterpiece. When the camera panned and revealed Suzanne Pleshette in bed with Bob, we all went absolutely bananas.
