Boy group NCT 127 made their comeback yesterday (sans leader Taeyong, who is currently serving in the Republic of Korea Navy) with "Walk," the title track off their sixth album of the same name.
i'm so curious as to what direction taeil would go in his solo. like he's done a few OSTs since his accident and he always sounds amazing, but i'm a ballad hater so i hope he'd surprise me like doyoung did lol.
idk why they took him out of the video version but put his vocals into the audio one? either way, i really liked it. it's very low key for a 127 song, but i like the beat a lot and they look like they had fun. it's nice to see taeil more too although idk if he'll be promoting at all. it was cute that they had taeyong's baby picture above them during the dance break. i can't stand the ending shot though, mark why lmao.
i enjoyed the whole album, i get why people say "gas" should have been the title track, but if sm was going to remove taeyong's vocals from the mv version, then i don't think it would have worked. his presence in "gas" would have been harder to replace imo.

yeah, taeyong is in the album itself because they recorded before he enlisted, but for some reason they took his vocals out of the video version. i guess it's because of how it'll be promoted, but i think they could have left his voice in the video and then just redistributed the lines for the lives and everyone would be happy lol.
it's weird because they didn't do it for cream soda, you can hear kai's vocals in both the mv and the album even tho he didn't participate in live performances nor he appeared in the mv so there was already a precedent! sm as always missing chances.

Not their best title track, but it's pretty fun! That high note at 2:47 wowwww 😍 (SM, I'm still waiting for Taeil's solo!)
My fave tracks are Orange Seoul, Pricey, Time Capsule, and Can't Help Myself.
