Good for her. Mask bans are just down right stupid. If you’re ill, you should wear a mask to keep others from getting sick.

I was at the doctors yesterday and I had to wear a mask because of my symptoms. I didn’t have covid/flu/RSV, but why risk getting someone else sick with something that would kill him.

Yes. The Qanon worms that ate the brains of lawmakers have decided that banning mask wearing is something that should be enacted. These were the people who were opposed to mask mandates during covid, the people who thought that their ~freedom~ was being taken away by the mask mandates. So now they are equating mask wearing to a being in a totalitarian state.

It’s bonkers.

Not just Republicans, there are Dems advocating for mask bans like Karen Bass in California and Kathy Hochul in New York. They are claiming its because of crime but that is utter bullshit.

I always mask everywhere because, well, I don't want to get sick myself, and I help my mother and grandmother out and they definitely don't need to get ill either. Also our percentages keep jumping week by week anyway (and that's with limited reporting) so better to take precautions than risk things. Glad someone's speaking up against mask bans, I was planning on going to North Carolina in the future to visit some friends and had to cancel those plans.
