this movie was so bad. it thinks it's being smart by playing at being a b-movie but in the end it's just dumb. kevin bacon is doing a benoit blanc impression for some reason, lily collins and elizbaeth debicki are just plain bad in it, and there's just an emptiness to it that was also present in X and Pearl but idk. it just played uglier here because of the inclusion of the real life night stalker and the snippets of satanic panic that. they didn't do anything with?

bad showbiz satire, and an obsession with being set in the '80s that would make the Stranger Things creators blush. bad bad bad!

I enjoyed it. It was a fun giallo tribute. I think people went into it expecting a straight up horror and didn't realize it was going to be more of a giallo film. I'm excited to see what Ti does next.
