I haven't watched anything on the CW in decades at this point but I've heard this critique from those who were still watching. Apparently the budget cuts have been very, very obvious. It must be odd for him to experience given how successful Supernatural was for the network.

walker was successful too. hugely successful on streaming, but it's troubling that they're taking up more religiously evangelical programming and adopting this strategy.

Hmm, interesting. I wonder if he noticed a drastic budget cut between that show and Supernatural. CW were at least invested in their original programming then in comparison to now.

i'm not sure, honestly. the cw was getting a lot of success from him before it was bought out, as i understand it. i think everyone just wants to be a streamer or to appeal to certain demos and the demo that watches regular tv the most is well, boomers. :/

Idgaf about Walker or Padalecki but he's right and he should say it. I honestly wonder if The CW is making such awful decisions to devalue the network in hopes of being bought out. It genuinely wouldn't surprise me.

He's right and he should say it!

I remember reading a thing from someone who wrote for Netflix and they said they didn't want anything to distract from a viewer's primary screen and that's when they realized Netflix considers the primary screen a viewer's phone and they're just background noise.
