I've watched all the other series of this show and I haven't gone back to check my impression, but it really feels like the finish the contestants are producing is shocking. Have they cut down the time they give them to finish the challenges?

that's what I was thinking! It seems like every week the pattern challenge is unfinished. I can't remember it ever happening so consistently before, we're lucky if just one garment is properly finished. And it's creeping into the made to measure as well.

Yeah, even the winner's garments are usually horribly unfinished. They've made so many comments in the past about things not being hemmed or threads all over, but now I can visibly see them and the judges just kinda move on without mentioning it most of the time.

This is like Project Runway all over again. Give them time!

I was thinking the same and wondering if I'm being too harsh.

So far no really stand outs but I'm leaning towards Alex, Ailsa and Pascha as my favs. They usually produce mostly complete garments.

That's not a lot of good inspired by sari outfits.

I was confused by that too because for me, calico has a small floral print like the dresses on Little House on the Prairie.
