I guess part of getting older is recognizing how these cycles happen over and over again. Hollywood hot girl archetype is always the same. It was Scarlett Johansson, then Jennifer Lawrence, now Sydney Sweeney. You can feel the effort to make Glen Powell happen. Hollywood will give him 100 chances to flop.

I can't recall anytime when the "it" girl or guy was Black, Asian, or a non-white Latino/a. Maybe Michael B Jordan had a taste of it.
