The celebrity revealed on Instagram that he had a basal cell carcinoma on his forehead removed. He got it checked on time and it was safely removed and is now healing.
mum has this on her nose. it always needs a good scraping off her face every year or twice yearly. thankfully it's just that 1 place and never any furtner
skin cancer is one of those cancers that people don't really take seriously which is odd. My mom has moles and as I get older I also get more moles. I wear sunscreen everyday. I still have to constantly tell my black and brown friends (esp the straight male ones) that yes, you also need sunscreen everyday
My dad has had basal cell and melanoma removed from his face and neck. He’s not diligent about much in health but since his last mohs surgery he takes sun protection very seriously.
I wonder how since there seems to be a trend of the sun isn’t bad for you don’t wear toxic sunscreen will we see an uptick in skin cancer diagnosis.
I work in Mohs, and I hate that that’s trending. There’s already been an uptick in skin cancer over the last 15/20 years, especially with younger people.
However, whenever a celeb talks about skin cancer, we get an uptick in appointments for skin checks, so I’m glad he’s gone public with this

My grandma's best friend had breast cancer when she was younger
They removed her breasts and she got implants
Cut to 2023 and we get news she has cancer again
Then it turns out nope it was the breast implants for some reason
So she got them removed recently and now this july she gets to celebrate her great grandsons first birthday
we are all incredibly lucky because she is like a great aunt to me
