Skin cancer greatly worries me. I have a lot of moles in my arms and they keep popping up every year so I'm always vigilant and try not to get exposed to the sun that much but still, it's something that is always on my mind :(

I gave myself a scare when I was younger and fully convinced myself that I had skin cancer bc of how many moles I had. Turns out Asians just tend to get moles more easily and so I was fine, but still I had all of them removed from my face and then now I am religious about getting them checked out by my derm every year. I recently got a few new ones in random places like my palm and my stomach when I’m always covered and even tho I just got a skin check in Sept I went in again last week. The amount of relief it is to hear it’s nothing, whew.

I had a questionable mole on my back that I couldn't see that turned out to be pre-cancerous. It's always good to get your skin checked out!

I have a high risk since I’m fair skinned and both my parents have had skin cancer (basal cell), so I get my skin checked a lot! It’s honestly so preventable and not something to worry about excessively if you’re paying attention. Trouble is, lots of people don’t.

Especially with the rise in “you don’t need sunscreen” dumbass influencers

I’ve been slathering sunscreen on my body since my early twenties, and I get mistaken for 25 all the time. I’m 35. Not a coincidence!

I already had like 5 moles removed but thankfully it always ended being nothing serious after getting the lab results back.

At this point I feel like they are just doing it for the money.

My dad had a melanoma in his iris! Eventually he decided to get his eye removed because he made the decision to live with one eye instead of potentially having it spread
