Not really surprising… Sergio Perez extends his contract with Red Bull Racing

The driver will continue until at least 2026. Not surprising, even though his streaks sort of ebb and flow, it means it’s a better solidifier to ensure the team can continue to prioritize Max Verstappen. And he’s incredibly ( Read more... )

Cackling cuz my brain can't comprehend Carlos Sainz Jr possibly going to Williams or Alpine. When he's been one of the top drivers on the grid for a couple of seasons now.

Pretty sure he did that to himself with his requirements :(

And what were those requirements? Having a top seat? He always stated money was not important to him, lets not get it twisted.

I think the requirements were not being second fiddle automatically? On top of how Sainz Sr and Jos reacted when they were at TR, RB was not realistic and McLaren was full so idk! I guess with Audi the idea of building the team around him should be lucrative, not just the money. But I understand being in your prime and not wanting to wait. However, that doesn't equal what is available? I'm not a Carlos hater at all 🥴🤔

If VCARBDZNUTS keeps DR for another season they're on the same shit their sister company is because it means Liam Lawson is a free agent.

Surprised that the Ocon/Alpine relationship died. They really have been behind him, giving him a seat after the acquisition of Force India and losing his seat for a year. Of everyone on the grid, both he and Alex know what it's like to be out of F1, but Esteban is not a very good teammate. Good driver for sure, but teammateship does matter. Alpine truly is the floppingest of all teams though so I understand wanting to leave.

No way on earth is that man getting into the second Mercedes car though, he's smoking that RBR if he thinks so.

Also ty beys for the Ducati writeup 🥺 you spoil us

What frustrates me the most is that Marko now basically confirmed Lawson is fcked. They're gonna keep Danny which is... move on. All these guys that are so good - Theo, Drugo, Liam, Vesti are not gonna get a seat likely ever which is sf discouraging.

I'm happy Nico got that Audi cash money and now I'd just like for my Danish terrorist to also have a seat.

Checo makes sense tbh - he has huge presence in the Americas, really good connections also through his wife's family, and is not gonna threaten Max who I doubt gives a fck about the WCC and clearly neither does RBR so.

Rumors that Sainz has signed with Williams over Audi will be confirmed after the Spanish Grand Prix in about 3 weeks.

Carlos already denied that. He also knew for a long time he's not going to RBR.

Upset about Vowels'/Williams' treatment of Logan how they're basically setting him up for failure when they're the ones who took him out of feeder a year too early. Guaranteed if Piastri ( ... )

lmao of course checo got re-signed with rbr. mans is bringing in $50 million dollars in merch sales from north and central america every year. now that the car is flailing he's sort of flailing with it, and it'll probably cost them the constructors now that both ferraris and both mclarens are competitive but honestly christian horner's rbr deserves a downfall. that man and the entire team (minus newey) absolutely fucking simping for him as he gets his accuser fired is fucking abhorrent, and that's also the behavior is gonna keep danny ricciardo in a seat undeservedly too.

carlos being a halfway decent teammate one weekend at monaco doesn't override every weekend of him throwing fits. enjoy williams.

Marquez has a very ~horny~ energy, turns out everyone in the paddock is gagging for it lmfao ! Man just said in an interview "if ducati doesn't want me i can go elsewhere it's no big deal !!" and ducati tripped over their own feet to make him sign a contract in like 2 days ! Rip Jorge Martin

Also there's something so tragic about Ricciardo end of career lol Everybody is like "ah yes, daniel has such a bright smile and his good mood is always there, no wonder everybody wants to keep him !!!" but the dude is like also very sad and lost when it come to his results....Feels like one of those stories where the clown who makes everybody else is actually the saddest person !
