Something like Cocaine Bear where it's clearly comical is fine. Something like Annihilation where the bear is genetically modified and diseased is terrifying.

I was going to say this exact scene with the bear from Annihilation! I saw it by myself in a small theatre (with others there), and I swear after the scene was over I felt everyone in the theatre let out a collective sigh that the bear was gone. Still my favorite movie.

and it's always BEARS. I don't care if you genetically mutate a dog or toucan, it's sad but that's it. For some reason when it's a bear it absolutely creeps me out, probs bc they're bipedal.

My stomach hasn’t been handling things like it used to. I could watch all the gore (I wouldn’t like it but I could handle it) and close ups in medical shows but even during Abigail, at one point the excessive blood made me queasy and I had to look away for a second.

Anything sharp near/going in someone’s eyes, when like bits of someone’s body starts falling or melting off, someone getting trapped and buried alive with no way out - especially when it’s filmed in a way where you can almost feel trapped too. Those all skeeve me out.

For me, it's monsters, ghosties, whatever, that are barely in view - like in the background or in a dark closet or god forbid, on the ceiling. Ugh.

ok but i love this!! lol

i remember watching Evil Dead Rise, and the MOMENT the camera cut to a cheese grater on the floor, i screamed and looked away. i CAN'T and i WON'T.

Anything having to do with eyes being poked or gouged out.
