She has some bops, but she can't sing live so what's the point in attending. No wonder the sales were poor

She still puts on a great show apparently.

I once had a Lyft driver who had just seen her live and she was so excited and giddy about it, it was kinda adorable lol. She kept showing me vids and pics she took from the show.

i bet she's a great dancer tbh. idk why she didn't just go the vegas route again, I think that's her niche

It might be an ego thing. "I went on tour & sold out every show!" kind of stuff.
But she overestimated her appeal.

Why she had two dates in several cities at huge arenas at this stage in her career when that album didn’t even chart is beyond me. Her team set her up for failure. Anyways, make another movie like Enough and I’ll be seated for that!

Multiple dates in the same city?? I follow more comedians than musicians/singers but you have to know your limit - almost or totally sell out a venue in a major/semi-major city then add a date! Supply and demand is so elementary.

i think there are very few acts who can sell out stadiums these days

her team was delusional

Exactly. Touring arenas was such an over-reach. She likely would do very well touring smaller venues - and there's no shame in that at all! It actually looks much better for an artist to tour smaller venues that are close to capacity than to book huge arenas to thousands of empty seats. Or having to cancel an entire tour.

And it's not like touring smaller venues would dent her a-list status. Many legacy acts with excellent name recognition with dedicated fan bases tour smaller venues to much success once their commercial peak has passed. Even to reach legacy act status is an honor imo. So many musicians and acts are easily forgotten after 1 hit song or album. I wish she/her team could accept that.
