This is my first big movie disappointment of the year :( Anya was amazing and I enjoyed her scenes with Tom Burke [even if he was basically just a substitute for Max], and the chase sequences were solid like usual. But the pacing was torture and the first hour felt like a prologue that was never going to end. I seem to be in the minority, but I thought Chris' villain was borderline annoying too.

Cannot agree more, I found Chris insufferable and doing too much while giving us nothing. His jokes/humour were not fitting at all. Thankfully Anya was great and the fight/action scenes were good.

If she’s anything like me, it shifts depending on who she’s speaking with. I moved around a lot and went to international school, so it flip flops between British/American/some weird combo of the two usually

Ignoring the fear that somebody would come after me with a spray bottle, he's been looking real good this promo tour.

Anyway her double sided tape not working bugs me out so bad. Like, nobody wanted to say anything?

I enjoyed it. It wasn't as great as Fury Road of course (you can't top perfection) but I still really enjoyed it and had a great time watching in the theater. I think it accomplished what a lot of prequels don't do and that is to build off of/amplify the film that came before it. I thought Miller tied together both films perfectly.

The only two cons I had with the film was 1) the pacing and 2) the CGI at certain times. The pacing really dragged in some scenes and then was full on all over over the place at the end, and the CGI (specifically for the dogs) was really noticeable (like was it really that hard to get well trained dogs to shoot some of the scenes? Somehow I doubt it). But besides those two faults I loved everything else: the performances, the music, the visuals, the stunts, the car chases, the characters, the tone. I thought it was a really great movie that should definitely be experienced in a theater for the first time.
