i hope this is the case. her silence was actually disturbing. i don't care about celebrities, but as an actual person with power, her not saying anything was so strange.

it wasn't strange, it's just that most people do not understand how legal jobs work, and that those jobs have ethical standards the lack of which can destroy a case (i do mean destroy, people have gotten cases dismissed for lack of objectivity in the deciding arbiter and the ICC is reliant on respect), and they made assumptions.
