it's such a stunner, and bc the album is v sapphic my mind connects it to xena's "bitter suite" episode.

i love how it's almost like one big cinematic piece together with "blue".

lol same! but i sometimes like it when singers are reaching, it adds drama. i’m not an adele person at all but i’ve always liked that someone like you is set where her voice always cracks and even goes just a bit flat on the high note (to the extent that when i’ve clicked on live performances she changes the melody to avoid it)… it’s like wow she’s so desperate she can’t even sing right!
