i agree, i'm not even a little sad about it. a few years ago, i thought it just needed to be tweaked a little, but it's been sooo horrible the only solution was scrapping it.

and having it on for 4 hours a week was unbearable (almost- there is ONTD proof that we suffered through lol)

Y’all I was STUNNED when I heard it was Joan.
I for sure thought it was going to be Leslie Fhima. I imagine the golden divorce is why they didn’t. Leslie has never been married and shied away from traditional relationships. I think a successful couple/marriage is the ultimate goal now.

I feel like Gerry is the fall man for the divorce. The show will keep propping up itself, obviously, and Theresa; but they’re hoping Gerry’s legacy will be forgotten. They’re looking for their Trista.
I’m surprised it’s joan but maybe she was who they had in mind all along. Faith & Leslie were the natural picks because of their placement in golden. Faith is ROOTED though. Susan and Sandra would have been FUN and I don’t think that’s the vibe they want for the inaugural golden bachelorette.
