Started off slow but also makes you anticipate more of what's to come. Danielle and Armand made me laugh and curious if they did have a relationship in the past.
I enjoyed Claudia and it was nice seeing Lestat.

I liked that instead of going the soap opera route of just dropping a new actor into an existing role and pretending nothing is different, they had a huge title card at the beginning of the episode that said Delainey Hayles is playing Claudia now.
funny cause when I saw the title card I thought it was like soap operas announcing a new actor lol I distinctly remember on All My Children a scene starting with the character of Jamie Martin will now be played by Justin Bruening
I remember a few times in the 90s, they just dropped the new actors in and pretended like having the same color hair and having the other characters call them by name several times was enough of an explanation.
This is making me miss the whole John Black/Roman Brady storyline on Days of Our Lives. I love how soap operas come up with the most batshit plots and we just accept them.
Claudia clocking his need for praise kink? LMAO!!!! Delainey is already finding good footing and I am already mad about Louis choosing yet another toxic man over her again. Lou, we've GOT to have a conversation about your type being older men who are hyper controlling & how that is an extension of you wanting to relinquish control because you had to maintain it in order to run and take care of your family 100 years ago. THERAPY!!
