i really love this show. they took a character i have despised into someone extremely compelling. the writing and acting finally are selling louis on me in a way i adore.
[book spoilers/speculation]i do think this fandom is in for a huge ol temper tantrum when it comes out that armand's a piece of shit in a way lestat isn't. i think this is going to blow up in a lot of people's faces despite the signs being blinkingly, blaringly obvious.
i also commend bailey. she's stepped into this role remarkably well and i hope that we see way more of her. also sam reid is, once again, possessed by the spirit of lestat. he is so good as the hallucination. the cackle i gave at lestat being who louis was really talking to.... claudia girl. good luck.
i scammed my bestie to watch this with me but she’s never read the books. while i’ve answered her questions on how everyone relates, i’m DELIGHTED to see how she’s gonna deal with the history of other vampires and how they relate to each other in modern times. she really doesn’t believe me when i warned her that almost no one is innocent in this universe, not even my favs
I see so many Loumand shippers convinced that he’s the one for Louis and I’m like… did y’all not read the books? Do y’all not know what he did? Like I love Armand as a character but come on lol.

I tried to watch Season 1 recently on demand and I fucking couldn't with all the commercials. Amazon Prime had season 1 streaming for $10.
