I was in grad school and saw this on a girls night with some of my classmates, which was a little weird because they were a ways younger than me, but also fun!

and terrible at acting, don't forget. I've never seen a worse portrayal of a Vulcan

im dissapointed they never seem to touch Deep Space 9 for anything. No Picard-like reunion...no reboot...nada.

Give me a damn Miles and Keiko tv show fronted by their grown up daughter!

Lower Decks went to DS9 and rumour has it some more DS9 characters are going to be in it's final (unless Paramount sees sense) season.

oooh. I would also even take an animated DS9 series that continues the adventures of people passing through on the station.

They confirmed Garak and Bashir are a couple on a mobile game so there’s that… lol. I really want to see more DS9 characters in the current shows

this cast was really good but ultimately wasted in this iteration of the franchise. among other things, i will never not be annoyed at the "appearance of favoritism" scene. such a lazy way to set up the reveal later and it hurt people's perception of (this version of) uhura.

r.i.p. anton. he was sick so there was a chance he would've passed anyway, but i still see him in the careers of his peers (especially his friends like alia shawkat, callum turner etc.) and wonder what he would be up to.

yeah, he had cystic fibrosis. he never talked about it publicly, but his parents made a doc called love, antosha and they cover it.

How sad, I had no idea. I lost my cousin to CF when she was in her early 20s.

GOD the passage of time really hits hard at, well, times.

Anton Yelchin's passing still feels surreal to me even after all these years. He just. Had so much potential to be a Big Thing or at least Well-Known. I miss his acting and his presence since he was genuinely a sweet guy.

his performance in Green Room was so startling and visceral. i feel like he was one or two roles away from really being like a Jesse Plemons-esque "oh when is he ever bad though?" figure.
