im dissapointed they never seem to touch Deep Space 9 for anything. No Picard-like reunion...no reboot...nada.

Give me a damn Miles and Keiko tv show fronted by their grown up daughter!

Lower Decks went to DS9 and rumour has it some more DS9 characters are going to be in it's final (unless Paramount sees sense) season.

oooh. I would also even take an animated DS9 series that continues the adventures of people passing through on the station.

They confirmed Garak and Bashir are a couple on a mobile game so there’s that… lol. I really want to see more DS9 characters in the current shows

I'm glad, the new writers suck balls and I'd rather they don't touch DS9

it's extremely depressing and i mean that on two levels: it's depressing that it's not good, and it's not good because it's fucking depressing. As much as people claim DS9 is "dark" when watch it through it has a lot of different emotional textures, some downright comedic goofy eps, some mellow slice of life episodes. New Trek shows are all bleakness. I blame the Battlestar Galactica reboot because all sci-fi since then has been this doom and gloom misery shit

at least The Orville got renewed for season 4, it scratches the 90s Trek itch flawlessly

The Orville ended up being a better modern trek than actual modern trek.

This hits so hard in the feels.
