When it comes to 7digital in Canada I will buy it.

We have 2 places to buy digital music from and I don't do iTunes or whatever it's called.

Good for Macklemore.

not to out myself as trash more than I have already, but aside from his R Kelly mention in Thrift Shop I’ve always enjoyed his work and Otherside makes me cry. so I was pleased to see him do this in the middle of what feels like a waking nightmare on social media, of faceless strangers calling for police to raid campuses, for everything to end in more and more violence. I feel a lot of grief these days and I don’t have anyone in real life with whom I can share it, and while I’m not important in any of this it did make me feel less alone.

i'm a grad student at columbia and was there when the occupation initially happened the first night. it was so beautiful and joyous, and so horrific that it ended as it did. things at columbia are awful. they've banned everyone from the campus, i can't even get in to get my books and stuff from my department office, and i heard today that one of my friends in my department is going to be expelled (he wasn't even part of the occupation). he is a sweet, brilliant, hardworking guy writing a dissertation about flowers in medieval poetry. i feel absolutely sick for him.

I'm in Sydney in aus and we have encampments outside or prime ministers local office and my old uni. I've been at both and the sense of community and connection u feel at them is so healing. Being able to experiemce the horror and grief communally is so important. the cops and counterprotests trying to take it away are fucking disgusting pigs

Good on him. I saw a few celebrities trending on Twitter today and he was the only one that had anything to do with speaking up for Palestine. What's happening now to Rafah isn't unexpected but it is horrifying and sickening, more so considering the threatening letter sent to the ICC by US Republicans. My heart was already breaking again over the images of bombings and carnage but the clips of Palestinian children celebrating premature news of a ceasefire agreement interspersed through my tl really crushed me. Anti-Netanyahu protests demanding he accept the deal had my hopes up just a little but of course he doesn't care.

Don't forget that you can click these buttons daily to support Palestine and other worthy causes at no cost to you. And if you can spare some change yourself, this spreadsheet of fundraising campaigns by and for Gazans is still being updated. If you'd prefer to help more broadly, Care for Gaza and Direct Aid for Gaza are two grassroots, boots on the ground operations distributing aid in Gaza right now, you can ( ... )

MSF’s tweets/updates have been devastating, very glad to see targeted fundraisers supporting them.

Same. I mostly focus on the local orgs but MFS has been doing good work there.

I was in final rounds interview with MSF in September but took another job and while I love my boss and my job now and can't imagine what working at MSF now would have been like, I do sitll wonder if I'd feel more fulfilled and less helpless if I took it.

Aside from the horrific videos/images coming out of Rafah today, there have been some posts over the past few days with pictures of kids who became orphans when their parents died in a bombings by Israel only for those kids to be killed by Israel. There’s just so much death and it’s all so Netanyahu can use this to stay in power.

I truly hope the ICC puts out an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and his cronies. Israelis are out protesting him and the invasion and he doesn’t give a shit because he knows he will never get re-elected. this is his swan song. and he can keep it going for as long as he wants because no one has cut off funding, country after country just wags its finger at him before continuing to do the exact same shit that didn’t work the first time. but an arrest warrant from the ICC could potentially change the optics in a way the ICJ case didn’t, even for non members like the US (who reportedly reached out to the ICC to ask them not to put out warrants for Netanyahu et al despite that).

every last child in Gaza who has died in this, died a preventable death. I do not know how these leaders are sleeping at night under the weight of so many senseless murders.

I hope they put out arrest warrants. The US trying to get the ICC not to put out arrest warrants is so funny to me because they’re perfectly fine with the arrest warrant against Putin. I agree with that arrest warrant because what Ukrainian kids are going through by being kidnapped and threatened/coerced to give up their Ukrainian identity is so wrong, but the US can’t pick and choose which ICC decisions they’ll follow versus which ones they won’t.

People being fed misinformation by the mainstream media and by the government 24/7 makes me so angry. I swear if it wasn't for the social media, I wouldn't know just how horrific the whole situation in Palestine is. Displacement and genocide. I wish more people would become radicalized because of this. It's high time to wake tf up and stop believing what the mainstream is trying to sell you. Fuck Itsnotreal. Netanyahu and his cronies should be tried for war crimes. I'm sick thinking of every one of those disgusting politicians who are complicit in this genocide. Oprah_they just have to die.gif
