What do you feel the public perception is overall of the college protests? Mostly negative? I'm in a liberal bubble in the conservative midwest, but that's what it seems like to me.

There was a recent poll showing that nearly 50% of USians think the protests should be banned. My impression from the polls overall is that the average person in the US is very "both sides" about the overall situation. It's depressing.

Because of how the media is portraying them, there is a negative perception around them imo but I do think the tide will shift like it did with the Free Palestine movement in general. All about how long the media can continue to twist the narrative

I think somewhat negative, the narrative that Tiktok and social media is brainwashing Gen Z is a real one mostly because I think people had negative stereotypes about Gen Z anyway tbh it's easy (and maybe convenient) for them to believe that they are flighty and easy to sway. Especially how the media has been dismissive of Gen Z even before this tbh

I think public perception about Palestine in general in the US is still very focused on Oct 7 and what Hamas did in a vacuum, because it stirs up emotion about 9/11

Macklemore, I owe you an apology. I wasn’t familiar with your game.

Does anyone know when this will be released on streaming so I can download and blast it on repeat?

What a song! I can’t believe how mainstream the liberation of Palestine has become. Maybe a free Palestine will happen in my lifetime. Nothing more I want to do than to return home ❤️

Somewhat related, but did anyone see that Seinfeld's wife and Bill Ackman set up a GoFundMe for those thugs that attacked the Pro-Palestine crowd?

Yep. They are absolute scum. Saw her insta turned off comments. The gall of this woman and her shitty husband to go to his pathetic poptart movie (shameful in itself) like nothing happened.

If we flipped it, it would be all anyone talks about on mainstream media. Meanwhile the media is obsessed with finding out where college students got their tents from.

I hope more protests outside of universities start up. This is despicable. Netanyahu basically said fuck the hostages and ceasefire deal, I’m gonna destroy all of Gaza because no one is going to try to stop me anyway.

As far as I can tell, that's what he wanted in the first place, I truly don't believe he had any interest in trying to get the hostages back

No, he did not. They were more useful to him dead than alive. Anyone with any kind of brainpower could see from the very beginning that where we're at now was always the plan, he was just seeing if anyone would actually try to stop it. World leaders tut-tut and shake their heads so it looks like they don't approve, but they don't DO anything about it

Oh, they have never cared:

"We later found out that Hamas had offered on October 9 or 10 to release all the civilian hostages in exchange for the IDF not entering the Strip, but the government rejected the offer."
