i did a quick google of her and saw she was in a couple of the fifty shades movie which i expect may have been a bit of inspiration too

Me neither and a working actress! That and Gabrielle Union’s involvement in it made me want to watch it and I actually really enjoyed it.

She had a good interview with R29 where they asked her why they chose to make her characters white which added some extra context.

she initially wrote a white couple bc no one would buy her past book with an interacial couple

finding out this was harry styles fanfic kinda ruined the enjoyment i got reading the book.
the movie was ... fun? idk, hathaway and galitzine had really great chemistry and that made the movie work well enough for me. it felt very slow in some parts (all the montage bits) and very rushed in others (the break up in act 2 and then they quickly get back together, go public and break up again felt like it happened all in the last 20 minutes of a 150min run time movie.)

The movie was boring af, the dialogue was bad and the acting was just there. The kind of film that makes me feel bad for all the talented screenwriters out there who can't get a job.

Anne looked hot. That's all I took from it. I hope she gets better projects.

i saw it last night. given the subject matter i was hoping it'd be a bit more fun and light but it was just kinda boring. and i know this was probably a fun gig and an easy paycheck for anne, but this movie felt very beneath someone of her caliber
