Lol I thought the author would've been some mid-20s white fangirl of 1D/Harry. Lol this is a surprise!!

Her describing the other male celeb inspirations actually do fit her age-range which is funny when you get to Harry.

JFK jr getting a bit of notice recently cause if you've Challengers the "I TOLD YA" shirts seen in the movie were based off the exact same tee JFK Jr wore in his lifetime.

I, too, was obsessed with Duran Duran and John Taylor. I still have my first (what I know now) self-insert RPF I wrote at 7 yrs. It was a page long story about how we met and became friends.

Probably too late to put that Harry Styles inspo back in the box, though.

yeah, but that would be like me revealing that I buy my bread at costco instead of making it from scratch. and sure, i like other bread and buy other bread and can make a decent loaf, but when i write “bread” on the board, we all know i’m only thinking about the 2-pack of pepperidge farm hearty white.

They’ve definitely been attempting to try to aggressively shift both the book and movie marketing away from being “inspired by Harry styles” since the reaction to the first trailer but it’s painfully too far gone.
