I have two coworkers with the same first name. The other day I told someone to go talk to Cathy A. and then I thought "no wait, that's Cathy B." and then I got confused again and had to put the person on hold and go ask the Cathy I was talking about if she was A or B because as much as I like and respect both of these women my brain had just fallen out of my ass that day so like... I get it.

at one place i used to work at, we had a lot of students coming to help us. this older co-worker was famous for renaming all the dudes by accident, she had terrible memory for the most basic names.

my boss: jake was such a great worker.
her: ... jake???
my boss: yes the tall one with glasses
her: omg i called him josh all summer and he never corrected me!
