That isn't a word for them to reclaim.

Also, "as an umbrella term" is offensive to us gay and lesbian, people especially.

We were tormented by this word. Some to suicide. I almost killed myself because of it.

Too many damn people are calling themselves "queer" when they have no business doing so.

I respect your feelings on it but for some of us it isn’t something gen z is trying to reclaim, it was reclaimed earlier. It was a word my local youth LGBT+ group was using in the very early 00s and after decades of work.

Straights can fuck off though. He doesn’t get to use that word.
