I saw Here Lives Love, but that was only because I was going with friends. Otherwise, I haven't seen a Broadway show since I was a kid. I didn't think it was very good tho. I saw John Mulaney and Olivia Munn in the audience lol

It's definitely doable during off season. I just went in November. My flights from NYC to Heathrow was under $600 round trip and there are tons of decent hotels near Paddington station for under $100 a night. Each time I go, I catch a few shows and pay under $75 for good seats, so I think it's worth it. And if you go during theatre week, even better. A number of shows sell seats as cheap as $25, sometimes even in orchestra.

I'm a little surprised at the love for Hell's Kitchen since I thought the run at the Public was just ok (well performed but mediocre book) and it didn't seem like much changed. I was also underwhelmed by Suffs when it ran at the Public, but I've heard it had significant revisions so I'd be curious to see it again. I am bummed that Phillipa Soo didn't stay on though.
Other than that, I was a big fan of Merrily, Illinoise, Purlie Victorious, An Enemy of the People, and Mary Jane. I was happy to see them all get recognition.
