Is HYBE records part of a cult???

To catch up on the drama, check out this post and this post !

You didn't think this was all over, did you? Did you think that this might involve CULTS? Because you'd have thought right!

The latest allegation surrounding Hybe is that they are, in fact, a part of Dahn World cult. And there's proof! But first a bit of backstory on Dahn World. This NRM believes that man and God are the same, and they worship Mago, the universe's goddess. I googled but it's info is all just tied back to this story and I didn't feel like scrolling to the second page of results (does anyone do that?). Anyway, onto the allegations!

*A girl group from Hybe, GFRIEND had 'Mago' as the name of their song. Their last song before disbandment, actually! Hmm. Proof against the cult: you'd think a song about their goddess wouldn't be the end of a career, but the beginning, no? The name of the album the single is from is 'Walpurgis Night', which is actually the German feast day celebrated by Christians where fire rituals are used to ward off witches and evil spirits.

*Le Sserafim also debuted close to Walpurgis Night, and their name is associated with seraphim, which are actually angels. A coincidence? Maybe. Continuing on, there were fire motifs with their album Unforgiven, which could also connect back to Walpurgis Night (i dont remember fire promo...)

*There is a promo picture for Unforgiven where Kazuha is holding a glowing star, in the same position as some statues of Mago.

*Six members of BTS studied in the Global Cyber University, a school establishged by Lee Seung Heon, the founder of Dahn World. What did MHJ know about this cult that made her go against BTS?

*Speaking of MHJ, she chose to have NewJeans promote under the app Phoning instead of Weverse, possibly because Weverse shares a name with Weaver's Mind, which is a company that might have connections to Dahn World. Could she be trying to get NewJeans away from cult activities by wanting them to leave with her?

*On NewJeans, their single 'OMG' has Minji referencing Siri, which is similar to 'shin-i', which could change the translation to "So you believe you're a god?"

That's all that I could pull from the two sources that I used. And congrats if you skimmed over this wall of text!

what is your favorite cult, ontd?
