CTRL was on HEAVY rotation for me; I haven't listened to SOS as much but I also just haven't been listening to as much music as I used to in general for various reasons
the fact that CTRL was never even nominated for a Grammy was the final nail in the coffin for me of ever taking them remotely seriously
I’d be so curious to know what you think about SOS! At first I needed to give it some time to marinate because i find it sonically different than ctrl (which again I love lol) but it’s such a nice maturation btw albums, like what I feel people want from their favorite artists tbh and she really delivered (for me anyways)
It’s funny bc one of my friends doesn’t listen to her anymore (cuz they’re married now lol I am too) but I always say even I can’t relate to her lyrics she feels like someone I would be friends with, drinking wine with like “girl noooo dump himmmmm” lol
Lolll same I'm like girl these lose ass men are not worth it!
I definitely enjoy SOS, I just haven't quite had the time to wear it out like I did with CTRL. I keep hearing Kill Bill everywhere (and I'm not even in the US right now), and I like it and I see why her label chose it as the "radio friendly" single but I'm also like really? This is the song of hers that blew up? lmao

After I saw her show I could NOT stop bumping “good days” weirdly enough. Love it because it feels like 20somethings but for 30somethings lol
