Thank you! It’s such a great movie otherwise but ughghghh those Will Sasso/etc scenes are physically disgusting. They don’t even add anything to the movie, just edit them out.

Janney and Barkin on the other hand?? Give me allll the deleted scenes and outtakes

There was a Q&A a few years ago with Mindy Sterling and she said something basically like that was the reality of teens back in the late 90s, and the juxtaposition of these beauty queens who are aiming to be so congenial just casually dropping slurs makes it more of a biting irony/dark comedy.
