David Zaslav gets an increase in pay after driving WB further into the ground

After Warner Bros took various cost-cutting measures including turning movies into tax write-offs and refused to pay actors & writers for months, David Zaslav’s 2023 pay package is now at $49.7M, a 26.5% increase from 2022.

This is the world we live in. The rich will continue to pay themselves with the "money saving" at our expense. While the media tells us we failed because we didn't work hard enough. Honestly we need a meteor to take out the rich old men.

I don't understand the outrage in licensing SaTC to Netflix.

It has aired on the CW & TBS for years. I know these networks are owned by WB, but it's still a watering down of the HBO brand. Not seeing how making money from Netflix airing it is much different brand-wise. Let's also not forget Netflix gave Friends a HUGE boost among younger generations.

Streaming wasnt a big thing when Netflix got Friends and the only place to watch uncut SaTC was HBO back in the day. CW/TBS were censored.

Meanwhile, as of this comment, I've gotten a 100% decrease of pay since 2022.

Le sigh.

It's funny how this whole thing is about cost cutting but the exec pay never goes down.

Why don’t I get raises for being bad at my job?
