April 19, 2024 -Who says the villain doesnt always win? David Zaslav received $49.7million in pay for 2023 which was a 26.5% increase from his 2022 salary even though WBD stock is down 29% year to date
-He continues to ensure that films wont see the light of day so they can get a tax write-off
-Wasnt interested in paying actors & writers a fair wage
-Continues to make HBO/MAX obsolete as key titles continue to be shared with Netflix and Disney+ for a profit.
-While DIsney+ has yet to allow any streaming service to have their Marvel content, Zaslav has allowed Disney+ to stream Wonder Woman and Shazam. Netflix has HBO staple Sex and the City and Insecure.
