For some reason, I couldn't find a promo for this week's episode and Last Chance Kitchen wasn't on YouTube so my only source this week was my eyeballs!
The elimination on this one was SO jarring in it's editing. I couldn't tell if they were trying something new or were THAT displeased with the losers lmao.
I think it was because the winners/losers were so obvious. Rasika & Danny were the only team that had two dishes that the judges liked, and Kaleena & Alisha were the only team where all the judges disliked both dishes
( ... )
I got way over my fill of Buddha the last two seasons so I could have done without seeing him again so soon. My inner misandrist was sad about the eliminations, but I wouldn't have sent any other team home. I also just have to lol at the chefs feeling way more comfortable about cooking Indian dishes since Padma isn't there anymore.
Yeah, I didn't find him engaging either. I don't hate him, but he was kind of an energy zapper. There are so many other past contestants I would rather see.
I was glad that when Kristen spoke to the chefs after judging, she flat out said that in the real world, no one would ever ask them to do something like this. It's nice to have someone acknowledge how absurd some of these challenges are.

I enjoyed the emphasis on FLW in this episode but was surprised by the different ways the chefs were inspired by him.
I don't think anything they've cooked in LCK has looked appetizing at all.
