That, plus everyone on that show pulled a Friends and bargained together as a unit. It's comparing an apple to an orange. People leave their representation all of the time; if he felt hard done by he should have switched to a more hungry agency that would have worked to get him more money.

obviously there's a huge pay gap between white actors like the three leads in fucking big bang and their black counterparts on empire BUT alsooooo i doubt v much the big bang actors were raking those huge paychecks in the first handful of seasons. that shitty show was on for 12 fucking years. empire was only on for half that. there is no way they had the same stance when negotiating salaries for later seasons.
