Toy Story 3 was the perfect ending. It’s honestly pathetic that these companies can’t leave shit alone.

Also, I love Tron so much so I’m massively disappointed they’re finally making a new one… with Jared Leto. God, what a disappointment. I won’t be watching. 😭

I agree. But studios are afraid to take a chance on anything that's not a sequel/prequel, remake, or an IP (toys, video games, book series) with an established fan base.

Yeah I like to pretend Toy Story 4 never happened.

I don't think Toy Story 4 is awful by any means (I love the doll and her creepy lil mannequin friends) but I do find it just bizarrely funny that the route they went was, "You know how Ttoy Story 3 had this really moving, sad ending that made millennial adults cry--an ending where Andy passes on his toys to a new child and generation who will cherish them? Yeah, she didn't give a single fuck about Woody and doesn't really care about the other toys, either, she's in love with a trash fork she made, lol."

It's kind of a perfect metaphor for... something.
