condolences to all the workers at these stores and to the communities they served. Dollar stores are often so useful to not just finding cheap things but giving access to things for cheaper to people who need that.

Also let's call inflation what it really is :

Price gouging and greed, pure and simple. Fuck capitalism and corporations.

I really forgot how to shop with the pandemic. I used to be able to spent all day shopping. Now I hate it. Too many yet no options. Too many people.

Still love IKEA though but my BF forbid me (not seriously) to go there anymore because I end up buying a whole apartment instead of a plant when I go there.

ugh same. I have no patience anymore. I have to buy most things online because I can't stand waiting in line, waiting in an aisle for someone to slowly get out of the way, wait forever for an employee to unlock the 20 items i need, and then stand in a line of 20 people to check out. And people have become so rude. But I now refuse to move out of the way for men in the stores.

Seriously. Online shopping is so peaceful and silent. I can't be bothered to be listening to sales associates hounding people around me (and myself) as I add stuff to a basket or whatever. I've definitely just sat in an H&M dressing room for a few extra minutes to ~enjoy the silence~ before heading back into the mall.

what people say about target i feel about ikea, lol. my only saving grace is that getting there is a bit if a trek and buying anything bigger than what i can carry in the bus requires some planning.
