Oh I didn't know about Girls State! The Boys State documentary sounded a bit terrifying but I did Girls State in high school and it was such a good experience. It was really the first time I'd been around girls who were proud of being smart and didn't give a shit if boys didn't like it.

i will definitely be watching scoop, because i cannot resist newsroom stuff OR royal drama. reviews seem pretty meh though. i really want to see monkey man and wicked little letters sometime soon too!

I would watch Lea Seydoux read the dictionary sooooo I guess I’m going to have to see The Beast. And I need to see if Monkey Man lives up to the hype. Parachute seems like it’s giving you all of the major plot beats in the trailer which is so 🙄 like do I really want to watch a movie about someone having an ED and walking on eggshell feelings, Alexa play that One Direction song. My local theaters have so many dang cool second run/rare print movies coming up, I’m going to have to be strategic with my time and money.
