Indie Film Release Guide: April 5th [An ONTD Original]

Apr 04, 2024 10:06

Dev Patel stans will finally get their fix this weekend as Universal releases Monkey Man, his directorial debut. And if you like religious horror, this weekend’s The First Omen looks to join March’s Immaculate on the box office charts. Otherwise, Wicked Little Letters expands, and there are plenty of fresh indies to explore.

The films listed are from studios other than the “Big Five” - Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Walt Disney Pictures, and Columbia Pictures. Note that some of the movies listed are in their first week or two of limited release in the USA, so it may take them a few more weeks (or months) to show up in your local arthouse theater or on VOD. Check out the posts from the past few weeks for more movies that may have just opened near you: March 29th, March 22nd, and March 15th.
