Indie Film Release Guide: March 22nd [An ONTD Original]

Mar 21, 2024 10:01

Welcome to the spookiest weekend of March! Sony is giving us the only big studio release, which comes in the form of the most recent installment in the Ghostbusters franchise. On the indie side, there are a few horror releases coming this weekend, like Neon's Immaculate and IFC's Late Night with the Devil, plus a mix of dramas, documentaries, and comedies.

The films listed are from studios other than the “Big Five” - Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros., Walt Disney Pictures, and Columbia Pictures. Note that some of the movies listed are in their first week or two of limited release in the USA, so it may take them a few more weeks (or months) to show up in your local arthouse theater or on VOD. Check out the posts from the past few weeks for more movies that may have just opened near you: March 15th, March 8th, and March 1st.
