Whether she was going to do an album like Bionic next anyway or not, it just seemed bad timing with Gagas whole shtick.
In retrospect, Not Myself Tonight is a fine song tho.

Yeah the timing was not great for her. Plus like other comments mention at the time it does seem like she was behind instead or on trend or ahead of the curve. Gaga and the other girls were the new wave.
