Her campaign against the trans community is really weird and obsessive. But I imagine it's really deeply rooted in an insecurity with her cause she's always come off as very insecure in general.

She mentioned in a essay 4 years ago that her experience as a sexual assault and domestic violence survivor informed her in regards to women's rights and that maybe she would've transitioned to a man had she been born 30 years later. So she sees transitioning as a way to escape sexism and misogyny which is ironic cause it's not like trans people in general automatically find the grass to be safer on the other side due to attacks on their community from people like her lol.

Hmm maybe there is some irrational envy if she really believes transitioning provides escape despite the fact that she makes out the community to be harmful towards women and is basically "erasing us".
