Ahhh im only on episode 4 so I’m running away to avoid spoilers- but I’m loving this show!! The actor who plays John is kind of giving me Tom Hardy lite, but I don’t even care! Everyone and everything is so amazing.

i lowkey think [Spoiler (click to open)]blackthorne made a whole show of storming off to grab his ship while everyone was looking the other way, and that toranaga likely knows (but mariko might not and the one guy translated for him instead). although i just looked at the next episode description which sounds like toranaga and blackthorne are at odds, so maybe i'm off base
