i lowkey think [Spoiler (click to open)]blackthorne made a whole show of storming off to grab his ship while everyone was looking the other way, and that toranaga likely knows (but mariko might not and the one guy translated for him instead). although i just looked at the next episode description which sounds like toranaga and blackthorne are at odds, so maybe i'm off base

Yeah it’s hard to say! This show has def kept me on the edge of my seat. It’s sooo well done. I’m glad that Hiroyuki Sanada is a producer on it and was able to get a Japanese crew.
