I'm sorry, the idea of an actor responding to an emergency is killing me. ~Make way, make way, this fan needs attention!~

Why not? Everyone has one facet of their job they don't like. He obviously doesn't like people in his space during his personal time. This is pretty well known. At this point, it's the public's problem, not his.

I think you're treating movie star and actor as synonymous, and I don't think they are. Movie stardom can be a by product of being an actor, but I don't think all actors go into acting wanting to be movie stars. Some genuinely do it for the craft or feel like it's their calling or passion in life. And when some do become famous in that way, they're either good at dealing with it, or not.

Idk his intentions either, but I was speaking in a more generalized way, where movie star and actor aren't the same thing and someone could legitimately find themselves famous when it might not be something they really want. But what are they going to do? Not do the thing they're passionate about?

But how many times have we heard actors say they do those movies for the paycheck which gives them freedom to pursue projects they love?

Look at his IMDB page. He's steadily worked since 2003-04ish. He got notice in 8 Mile but didn't jump to stardom. Marvel wasn't a thing for him until 2014. And a lot of his prior movies were low budget or indie.

This notion of actors achieving success and thus they lose all rights to privacy, when they are not working or on the clock, is ludicrous. Recognition comes with fame but that doesn't entitle anyone to his time when he's not on the clock. That's a respect issue.
