I've never been a big drinker, mostly because I get that asian glow after like a single fucking sip, so it's always been unpleasant for me. And too much also makes me break out in hives so I'm probably mildly allergic. I don't mind people who do, so long as you're not hurting others around you. I know it's hard because it's such a social thing, but people should try and figure out what works best for themselves, and not base it so much on what others around them are doing.
Anyway, good for her. Her personal transformation must be working because she's been looking stunning lately.
also i just like hate the taste of beer. tho i find my body can generally handle sake better than others, so when there happens to be a sake cocktail on the menu im always like 👁️👁️
I don’t drink much, but I have a decent tolerance for alcohol. I’m also one of those idiots who will get drunk and feel fine, so I’ll determine that I’m not drunk.
I've never been a drinker, I hate how it tastes and how it feels. The worst part is the people who take personal offense to it or have you try something and don't believe you when you say yes, despite all the juice and other stuff, I can still taste the alcohol and it's foul.
Lmfao over New Years I was talking with my colleague and one of my bosses about how I volunteered to work New Years because I don't drink. Boss asks why and my colleague interrupts and says 'because she's an alcoholic' I had to be like 'Yes Allison. I am.'
Veeeeery awkward. He was totally respectful in asking and I'm pretty open about it but because I'm under 30 (for a few more months) people get so fucking shitty about it. Especially because I'm Australian and inappropriate amounts of alcohol intake is very common.

But on a side note, as someone in recovery, I applaud anyone staying sober for whatever reason!
