yeah you can't repair something like this, which is what you always have as a goal from the inside. if ive learned anything about relationsships is you should be really fucking careful from the start cause once you start breaking things the cracks are always there. thats why they're one word away from a war stepping on one, them overcompensating with the loveydoveyness. some people have something strong enough overall that a crack or two doesnt sink them, but these people sound like they're in a house on fire. i mean if they feel like they have time to waste go ahead i guess.

I love this analogy. There are many relationships that have had major cracks, but both parties were willing to put in the work to repair them together. Sometimes you can fix it so it looks like nothing happened, but those involved will never forget.
