Because there are a lot of ethical issues with surrogacy, that go far beyond the can’t have their own kids/medical aspect.

I do understand why some have issues with surrogacy, but I’ve also seen that many here have an issue with adoption too (when the inevitable “can’t they adopt” question comes up).

You’d think that every adoptee grows up with serious issues, after reading some of the posts on here.

At least in my country, where is illegal (they go to America to do it), a lot of people (me included) are against it even when gay couples do it. And you need a lot of money to be able to pay a surrogate, so very often the gay couples who do it are also rich and famous.
