The combination of Kristen Wiig’s hair color/style and accent on this show kept making me think she was Anna Camp. In some shots, the shade of blonde and her very tan skin reminded me of Kristin Chenoweth.
So far it’s a fun show (the wardrobe definitely helps) and I liked some of the unexpected twists (I was shocked when the husband showed up). The casting is really great with the exception of Kaia Gerber. She is beautiful but her terrible acting sticks out like a sore thumb.
Agree about Kaia, she really is not an actress. I also was surprised about the husband and that he (and Maxine) were who she said they were. I'm enjoying the show so far.
I was shocked that the husband was real; she described him as if she were making him up. Kaia is an odd choice - kind of playing herself. I guess we'll understand the point of her character soon.

The scripts aren't nearly as good as the setting/costumes.
Seems like a 2006 show that'd air on ABC and get canceled after 1 season.
