Random thoughts from watching all 3 episodes.

Ricky Martin looks oddly young and unrecognisable - like I have to squint and be like "is that Ricky Martin?"

I find it hard to believe that Maxine can successfully pawn off all those items to any old small-town pawnshop. He won't be able to sell them to someone else at a profit.
Douglas was a pilot; wouldn't he earn decent money back then? They didn't even have hotel/motel money?
