Maybe it’s just because I have a disorder that causes extremely slow healing so any surgery is risky but it’s wild to me how casual people are about elective major surgeries.

Like, I don’t even care if someone has work done but the recovery from these surgeries seems so brutal that it’s unfathomable to me someone under 40 would have 3 boob jobs under their belt

yeah i've decided that i don't want to get any cosmetic procedure that requires general anesthesia because ime recovering from the anesthesia alone is brutal. reading her say she'd had multiple breast surgeries gave me flashbacks to some miserable times spent recovering from surgery.

Same, I've had three open heart surgeries and can't imagine doing any major plastic surgery by choice.

All I could think about when I was recovering from my septoplasty was "how can people get surgery like it's nbd?"
And I wasn't even in that much pain, just very very uncomfortable.

I like that she’s open because it’s silly that anyone would deny it when it’s so obvious.

I really want to know what her secret procedure is though lol

But I still find the amount that people get and the lengths they go to to prevent aging sad. And it is jarring seeing humans looking as if they have a permanent filter on their face. I definitely feel at times that it’s affected how I view myself

The honesty is refreshing, and I genuinely don’t care what individuals choose to do regarding their appearance but it will make me think a lot about beauty standards and that usually leaves me feeling sad.

I'm really leaning towards getting an ethic nose job, I want it to look natural and not dramatically change something that is essential to me breathing.

what is an "ethnic nose job"?

I feel like its more of an altering vs a copy and paste nose job that are more popular with white patients. I don't want to completely get rid of the shape of my nose, just have it be more defined.

I really enjoyed this interview. She was really funny and it made me sad to hear how much the backlash has affected her.

I also really appreciate the honesty regarding her surgeries! She's right, as women we can't win. I really appreciated the transparency. It does make me sad that she felt so weird about forgetting to contour her nose. She's so gorgeous!

I also really, really wanna know what the secret procedure is, but I respect her choice. She doesn't have to share everything with us.

She’s a really fun interview to listen to generally. She has a lot of personality. I also like her honesty but I can’t help but feel sad that she felt the need to change so much given how crazy beautiful she was and is. I hope she’s happy though and at peace with her appearance.
